Our Group Disability Income plans cannot be customized for your individual needs, but the rates tend to be less expensive than an individual policy.
Individual Disability Income Insurance, on the other hand, can be customized to fit your financial needs. You can choose from multiple plans, optional features and riders that are available at an additional cost, higher benefit amounts and longer benefit duration. If a group insurance plan is marked as Guaranteed-Issue, it does not require medical underwriting. That means you cannot be denied coverage based on your personal health history.
